Oh, I never noticed the ring! After my exams I must go and sit through all four films and squee!
Of course ADMM are married! JKR as good as admitted it. To me, anyway.
1) She said we'll find out which teachers are married. Logically speaking it has to be someone important to the plot - which narrows it down to Albus. Snape and Slughorn. I think we can rule out HS and I doubt it's Snape (let's just skip that bit for now), and we all know MM is the obvious choice. (Even if "canon" sites don't agree *coughs*)
2) She gave away (to me - you've got to sit and stare at the words for hours before it strikes you - she's really very clever but not clever enough) that AD is Harry's grandfather.
Considering the list of similarities between James and Minerva, and taking account the above point, I would say that the chances of AD and MM being married are 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 (etc) per cent. And I only didn't say 100% because I don't want to look a complete idiot in the extremely unlikely even that JKR has changed her mind and done the book completely differently to how she originally planned it.

The proof has been sitting on my shelf for years! Years I tell you! YEARS!
Does anyone else own the Royal Doulton Professor McGonagall figurine? Well I do! And Sweet Mother of Merlin she's wearing a ring on the correct finger!
SHE IS WEARING A RING ON THE CORRECT FINGER ON HER LEFT HAND!
How could I have missed this?
