I know I've already posted my ships here, but I thought I should update the list a bit. I've been writing a wider range of ships and I'm slowly growing to like some ships I was a bit ambivalent towards before.
Albus/Minerva Remus/Sirius Poppy/Pomona Molly/Arthur-it's just fun to read about a happy marriage for once
Some ships I support on the side: Lucius/Bella (even though Narcissa is the perfect trophy wife) Sirius/Hermione Remus/Tonks Severus/Prof Sinistra (some terribly funny fics have been written about this ship) *A ship I forgot to add before: Amelia Bones/Emmeline Vance The student ships don't really interest me much because the adult characters are far more intriguing to me overall.
I've found two hilarious Remus/Sirius fics recently, one of them even has some ADMM. I only halfway supported this ship before, but after actually writing two RLSB fics as contest entries I was completely hooked.
But really, Remus is such a great guy, he goes well with everyone. Sirius, Tonks, Minerva, Severus, Hermione...just everyone!

Poor Remus. HP fanfiction makes everyone so promiscuous..... But you are right. He DOES go with everyone. Except perhaps Dumbledore. That one I do not ever want to see. Oh great, the bad mental images are attacking again.

Ohh I've just been reminded of some more! And you are right Remus seems to fit well with a lot of people.
Bellatrix/Voldemort! I can't believe I forgot this one, it's practically canon how she was the only one Volde rescued from the ministry when he swooped in and grabbed her just screams 'ship me!'

I can't believe I forgot this one, it's practically canon how she was the only one Volde rescued from the ministry when he swooped in and grabbed her just screams 'ship me!' Yes! Yes! She's totally in love w/ him...he doesn't love her but I'm sure he likes what she does for him *insert innuendo here* Another ship, totally random but I have my reasons, Emmeline Vance/Amelia Bones. They were both killed around the same time and we know at least that Amelia was "living alone". In my own little HP world, Amelia was killed because she was one of the most honest Ministry employees and a supporter of Dumbledore. Vance might have been killed to hurt Amelia or vice versa because she was important to Amelia. I'm not expressing my thoughts clearly, but I might write a little ficlet about this some time.

I love Voldemort/Bella too. She is the Black Queen, I suppose.
OMG. That makes her Minerva's equivalent. Wow, she kinda IS, even down to her would-be-romantic relationship with Voldy. How effing weird.
Wow, my HP characters-as-chess-pieces-theory is kinda freaking me out now. Maybe there IS more significance to all of the analogies....
I go find some irrelevant meaning in some random passage now.

oh god, what DON'T I ship?! I don't care much about the students but I'll read pretty much anything about the teachers. Well AD/MM, obviously, Remus/Tonks, Snape/Hooch, Poppy/Alastor, god really, I don't care much, have read some pretty good SS/MM too.... other than HP, I ship the following that comes to mind: AJ/Mac - JAG Gibbs/Kate - NCIS Gibbs/Abby - NCIS (post Kate's death, obviously) Gil Grissom/Catherine Willows - CSI: Crime Scene Investigation Janeway/Paris - Star Trek Voyager (Blame Nerweniel, I had nothing to do with it!) Clarisse/Joseph - Princess Diaries Wilkes/Nanny - Eloise at the Plaza/at Christmastime Any other ship with Julie Andrews Jane/Rochester - Jane Eyre (Again, blame Nerweniel, her fault!) Lewis/Ella - In Her Shoes (because old love rocks!) and many more that I don't follow anymore Oh! And Ella Parson/James Carter from an episode of Hetty Wainthropp (or whatever) Investigates, which I watched a few days ago on BBC prime because I am ill.... this is getting scary. Scared yet?

Wilkes/Nanny!!! Yes, a thousand times yes!!!
I loved those two movies...I swear those two are just too cute.
*takes deep, calming breaths*
Jane/Mr Rochester is a given...as is Clarisse/Joe
I also ship Tom/Carl from the Young Wizards series Mary/Bert from Mary Poppins Henry/Eliza from My Fair Lady Perry/Della from Perry Mason Bruce/Barbara from Batman, Batman Beyond and Sam/Catherine from US Marshals (if you haven't seen this movie you should, it's a sequel of sorts to The Fugitive)

Ships, ships, ships: -
Well!
Remus/Minerva Sirius/Minerva Harry/Minerva (VERY dependent on how it's written) Albus/Minerva (obviously) Severus/Minerva Ron/Minerva (don't get freaked out; it works if there's a de-aging potion involved) Hermione/Minerva
And then: -
Remus/Tonks Remus/Hermione Harry/Hermione Harry/Ginny Draco/Ginny Ron/Hermione Sirius/Hermione
And then....erm...the latter are all generally 'side-ships' i support. lol. I even read a Remus/Ginny one that was fantastic. I must find that again incidentally...

Ships...how fun!
Well, Albus/Minerva is the obvious one (and the only one I follow anymore), but I'll admit to liking most anything with Minerva/ so long as the other one's not a student. I know Albus/Minerva kinda has that dynamic and I kind of like it (for the record, my high school Chemistry teacher married her professor--grad school, mind--but they've been married for more than forty years now, and they're absolutely adorable) but Minerva/any one of the Trio just creeps me out. Sorry.
I do like some Tom/Minerva (very few, but there are some good ones..well, Nerweniel writes some, anyway), was persuaded to Severus/Minerva by some bloody brilliant fics (she's his age, sometimes), and Remus/Minerva tends to be a quiet kind of sweet.
I like Harry/Hermione, and do not wish to get into another shouting debate about why R/Hr...well, I ship H/Hr. nuff said.
Hermione/Snape, if they don't make it dark and twisty. Draco/Ginny, second only to Albus & Minerva.
Jack/Irina, Alias (deeply disappointed).
Also: Angel/Cordelia, Wesley/Faith, Fred/Gunn (Angel); Marguerite/Roxton (TLW); Scott/Jean (X-Men), Jean/Warren; and a whole lot more.
I'll pretty much read anything if it's well written. And will now stop procrastinating and cram for econ midterm. <sigh> This is so much more fun!

I'll ship almost anything as long as Minerva and Albus aren't with anyone else.

Snape/Sinistra happens to be my newfound, fully supported ship ;D Yes, their love shall prevail... with the occasional flying coffee mug There are some awesome S/S fic on FF.net, mostly by She's a Star and drama-princess, and I command you all to go read them.

I just discovered a fantastic HGSS one. It's actually brilliant. Normally I loathe Snape with a passion, but he's both realistic and...well nice in this story.
On a completely different thread...Childminerva, I just had a look at that star sign/Hogwarts House site and it's fantastic, but I was sorted into EVERY house on the 'most scientific Harry Potter quiz ever created' so you can imagine what my results were like. lol. And the super spooky thing is that they're all right in some respects, it was quite eerie. Oh, and for those wondering, I'm a Libran.
So according to this site I am: obsessed with justice (the Gryffindor side coming out), explore every possible ramification of an action (it comes in handy! - that's the Ravenclaw side), are obsessed with pretty things (hey, my jewellery IS beautiful! - the Hufflepuff side, and am part of the 'Magical Corps of Diplomats' (Slytherin).
Phew! No wonder I'm slightly insane.

I used to ship Ron/Hermione but that was before I discovered this site! My favourite ship now is Albus/Minerva, but there are some other ships which I like reading about (in order of preference):
Severus/Minerva Ron/Hermione Remus/Tonks
I know SS/MM sounds odd for a die hard AD/MM shipper but I've just read a wonderful story over at Mugglenet.com called "Minerva McGonagall and the Half-Blood Prince" and I somehow didn't find the idea so strange afterwards. Actually I think it's rather charming - especially the reversed age difference...
Ships which I don't like:
Draco/Hermione Severus/Hermione
plus any ships involving death eaters (except Severus of course - but he is reformed anyway in my opinion).

I read 'MM and the HBP' on fanfiction.net and I agree, it was pretty good as far as SSMM fics are concerned (there are quite a few terrible ones). I really liked it, and the author is hilarious (replied to a couple of my reviews.)
And I have a new ship that I support!
Raithe McIntyre/Minerva - Raithe's an OC, and I have to say I am completely in love with him. lol. My friend is mad, she really is.
And to be random, for some obscure reason I loathe Rolanda/Minerva. I'm not sure why, but that ship just grates on my nerves. I prefer HGMM to be honest. Ah well. Each to their own.

I am sure I have posted on here, but here we go again. HP- AD/MM is of course at the top of my list, but I have been having trouble writing them in any sort of unique way lately.
- Blame jayejaye, not me, for the Good Ship Charming Roots (Filius Flitwick and Pomona Sprout). I will say they are a joy to write and I don't know why I didn't think of them as a couple before. They are perfect for each other! But then, I will read ANYTHING with Sprout in it...please don't take that as a challenge. lol
- Remus/Sirius are wonderful.
- I do ship RW/HG and HP/GW, though not actively. I have also been known to read and enjoy some HG/SS, which is more than a bit scary for me. lol
- Pomfrey/Moody
- Remus/Tonks, but only after Sirius died.
- Neville/Hannah, which is due to this wonderful fic on the sugarquill called Asking for Roses.
- Hagrid/Olympe, because of Aeronnen's Different Differences
- Dobby/Winky
- Molly/Arthur
As for everything else... - Any of the obvious ships containing Julie Andrews. I just love her!
- I love George Sutherland and Jessica Fletcher, but I also love Jess/Seth, so that is a bit of a toss up. Michael Haggerty is awesome too, but I really think Jessica would pick one, so maybe I should too. lol
- Jack/Nora from Law and Order
- Maurice/Mrs. Potts from Beauty and the Beast, which may have been my very first ship. lol
- Brown/Price from Bedknobs and Broomsticks, which is the other one that might have been my very first ship.
- Oliver/Grace from Annie
- Josh/Donna and Danny/CJ from West Wing
- Danny/Jordan from Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
- ...and many many more.
I find a ship in everything I watch and read. lol

I like not only AD/MM, but also MM/SS I love AD/MM, though. I adore shadowycat's stories and MM/SS shots in the movies made my brain washed...hehehe. Addition I want to support MM/SS more since I read "An Act Of Love", basically AD/MM and one side love from Snape to Minerva. Thinking about the fic, even after 40 years since Albus's death and it would be platonic companionship, I would want to have Snape and Minerva be together. Snape would wait for Minerva if he knows what Minerva would have think about the life after Albus's death.
It is possible Tom/Minerva in past. I can't find anyone else for Albus except Minerva. I think it would have been no wounder if he had had a wife or wives before AD/MM. I love HG/DM and HG/RW, but I can't find why HG/SS is so popular...

Ooh, where to start? I'm one of those people who deliberately goes for off the wall.
Alby/Mina, obviously - one of only three canon ships (I'm certain) Severus/Lily Arthur/Molly- the others
Also,
Ron/Harry - my favourite Harry ship EVER. And probably the most realistic slash one imo - they've been best friends since day one and the way Harry is described being so miserable when they rowed - and then when he suddenly didn't need to hear an apology - was just ... ahh. Harry/Daphne Greengrass. I read a fic on FFnet called "The Little Child to Lead Him" which is Harry/Daphne and I decided I liked it, went away and wrote the ship into two of my own fics. I like the major character/minor character thing because it leaves lots of room to speculate on characters without it seeming like an OC ship. Aberforth/Poppy. Thought this one up myself and can't undertand why no-one did it before me. Tom/Minerva (but ONLY when she realises she made a mistake and ends up with Albus at the end!) Severus/Sinistra Severus/Hermione - but, unlike with ADMM, I'm less inclined to read them as teacher/student. I actually rarely read the ship, but I've written it once, with them the same age. Severus/Sirius - like a slightly darker version of the Draco/Harry ship. Draco/Hermione - recently got into this one, if written well Harry/Hermione - sometimes. Voldemort/Bellatrix - again, sometimes Remus/Severus Ron/Draco Harry/Luna (but I can't write this one) Ron/Luna Luna/Hermione
I've gone off Harry/Ginny and R/Hr, but I still write them. Sometimes.

This is part addition to my post, part confession. 3 posts ago I had a long list, with a few comments, of my favourite ships. Now I have another to add.
Albus/Alastor
ADMM is still (and always will be) my OTP but this one strikes me as sweet. I had a bit of it (one-sided) in a series of fics and this morning I started writing a one-shot after Harry's come out of the maze. There is a little ADMM in it but for the most part it's AMAD. I'm going to leave it an ambiguous ending where the reader decides what happens after, whether Alastor forgives Albus, or doesn't, in which case it's likely he and MM would get together.

Just fueling my need for Harry Potterness while everyone else in the world is out reading DH... I love, and always will, SSMM. I know people don't understand how Severus could be shippable, but two abrasive, sarcastic, incredibly sharp, intelligent people are an absolute minefield together. Destructive, brilliant, hilarious and touching in what isn't spoken. When it's written well, it's a genius ship. I found ADMM through SSMM and I *do* tend to read more of it now, but that's more because it's hard to find a truly well-written and not OOC SSMM. Still, if I can ever get my hands on it, I'm one happy girl. Okay, there's my rant done. Other than ADMM and SSMM, I don't really ship anything. I'm not interested in the students really. Like someone else already said, I find the adult characters so much more fascinating. And JKR is taking care of the kids for us.
