Random Q here. Does anyone ship the 'trio'. I've read a few HG/HP/RW fics and to my utmost surprise, some aren't bad. And they are very close-knit to the point of being unrealistic...
I dunno, any takers with that one?
Oh! And Snape/Sinistra. New ship (not as good as others, but not bad), and (because of a mad friend who identifies *way* too much with Sprout) I am now forced to ship Snape/Pomona. *sighs* The things we do for our friends...

I've read a few good Snape/Sinistra before. I think because we don't know hardly anything about her, people can amost make her an OC so she could be quite easy to write randomly because you don't need to keep her in-character.

My favourite ship was Ron and Hermione. They were the reason I really took interest in the whole series when I saw PoA. I think they're still an equal favourite with Albus/Minerva, but I have been reading a lot about ADMM than R/Hr. I also developed an interest in Snape/Lily while I was reading the seventh book, though it was always going to be an unhappy love affair. Their canon is depressingly satisfying as is... It makes me love Snape more, which is fine by me since Snape is played by Alan Rickman. As for slash relationships - I've never been much of a slasher. I don't know why really...

Scorpius/Rose is my new OTP They're the only Next Generation ship I absolutely adore. But I know a lot of dissapointed Dramione fans are shipping them 'cause it's the next best thing, but I've never shipped that and am still in love with this ;D

By that, I think, you mean you've read "Confessions of a Starry-Eyed Twit." Also, I'd like to take this moment to emphasize that it is ALL ABOUT the Grindeldore. It is ALL ABOUT it.

It's Lamentations, not Confessions, but yes, that's what I was talking about at least.
And I just can't 'ship' slash. I don't know why seeing as I can handle Minerva/Hermione. I just don't think Albus would actually have a relationship to be honest, he's so caught up in saving the world (at least, doing what he thinks is saving the world. He ends up manipulating.)
I still feel sorry for Albus Severus. What a name, my friend thought she was hard done by with Dianeme...

I think I have read that, the name sounds really familiar, but i cant remember tbh, it was probably a long time ago. Grindeldore. It might not be all about it, but it's certainly awesomeness lol. And that name, omg., everytime I hear it i die a little bit. She created the HP world, why could't she think of a decent name?

I thought it was really sweet that she made Harry name his son after AD and SS (if that's what you were talking about). And I like both names, though I admit put together they do sound alightly odd, because they both end in S. I actually thought of Albus/Grindelwald whilst reading DH, but it slipped my mind till now. There are a lot of ships I think "hmm, that could work" but never ship actively because I live in fanfiction - I write much more than I read, and, using the AD/GG for example, in one post-GoF fanfic I made Grindelwald Albus' father and in another his alter-ego. So, although it *could* work, I'm not about to start adding it to my ship list. Also Albus/Luna and Albus/Harry - I've made A+L related in two fics and A+H related in about a hundred fics. I have read an Albus/Harry one (it was actually funny) but it did sort of disturb me because I always picture them in a family relationship (in some fanfic cases, literally - I think I've covered about every blood relationship imaginable with those two ... [see full details here]). I mentioned before and I am mentioning again, Aberforth/Poppy :) I've never been fond of Alastor/Poppy, and although AgiVega's job of putting Aberforth and Minerva together was really excellent, Aberforth/Poppy rule (after ADMM!). Alby/Mina and Abe/Pops are my versions of JKR's Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione. Since the chances of ADMM fics being accepted on PhoenixSong and the Sugar Quill are now less than zero, I'm trying to get Abe/Pops accepted so I can have something posted on both sites. (The only bad thing is, I have to watch my step around Albus and Minerva's characters in any A/P fics I want to submit. I may end up having to edit especially.) The next PS submission day I'm trying for " The Short Straw". Wish me luck!

I don't have anyone relate to anyone - the whole time-travel that is generally involved to make it possible does my head in. Very, VERY few people can pull off time-travel, most times they end up sliding into cliche (not insinuating anything about anyone here - just stating a fact.)
Not to mention I just don't think that Minerva (who people often use) would abandon Harry - the blood protection thing is completely nullified in my view as he'd be raised (most of the year) at Hogwarts which is one of the, if not THE safest place in the wizarding world. That being said, Albus probably would, for the 'greater good' (sorry, I loathe that phrase therefore it deserves sarcasm.)
My fanfiction ships are extremely limited however. I just don't read anything without Minerva, Bellatrix and occassionally Narcissa. There is only one story I read ('Torniquet' by Veruka,) which has none of those women as main protagonists. It's completely freaky though - talk about a bonkers OC! I only found it about two weeks ago and it had me intrigued. Not brilliant, but definitely readable. It makes me wonder if I should reincarnate Raithe...

Here's an Albus/Luna timetravel fic that works fantastically well. You don't even have to consider it AD/LL. cesario.livejournal.com/246038.html EDIT: OH WAIT DH SPOILER WARNING.

ADMM is amazing. End of Discussion. I will read MMSS, but other than that no one else for either Albus or Minerva.
I ship Hermione/Snape all the way and love fics that combine their thing with ADMM. Others I like: Harry/Ginny, Arthur/Molly (mollywobbles, teehee!), Tonks/Lupin, Alastor/Poppy, and Snape/Hooch (liked this when i read a multiple couples ADMM fic, The Joy of Healing, on fanfic. Hysterical).
My outside Harry Potter shipping is pretty selective. My only other major media obsession is the television show LOST, and I actively worship the pairing of Jack Shephard and Kate Austin. Jate forever!
The only other ship on my sea is Zuko/Katara from Avatar. (Please don't kill me-yes I know it's a kids' show, but if you look hard enough, a whole world of asian culture, economical diversity, political upheaval, and deeply intriguing characters come alive. I've actually used the show as an example for my psych class.)

Well, although I totally love Albus and Minerva together and think that is the way it should be. I do read Minerva paired with Remus, Severus and Tom/Voldemort. Minerva is my fave character so I think that is why I can read her with those others. However, I can't read anything with Albus paired with another. I just refuse to accept it *lol* Albus should only love Minerva.

I like Poppy/Alastor.
For some reason I picture Madam Hooch and Professor Sprout together, but I also think that Flitwick/Sprout fics are cute.
I think that Snape/McGonagall go well together *waits for things to be thrown at me* but I only read those kinds of stories if they manage to keep Snape in character, which is really hard to do in a romance fic.

I feel the need to tack on some new ships as of DH ;D Okay, so I totally fell in LOVE with the idea of Ariana having a crush on Gellert when Albus was young- even if it's unrequited, Ariana/Gellert is one of my favorites

I never thought of that but now you've said it I am completely in love with it! Someone should do a fanfic with it! (*hint hint*)
I love Andromeda/Ted Tonks. I know it's canon but I loved Ted - he reminded me so much of my father - and Andromeda is pretty cool as well. I really loved her resemblence to Bellatrix - it added a nice spin on things. So the two together ... *aww moment*. lol
And to add a completely different and unrelated ship. I'm in love with the film 'Kate and Leopold' at the moment, so naturally they are my current favourite ship. Yes, I know, I'm mad but it's such a cute movie ...
Back to the Harry Potter world! I just read a great Hermione/Severus fic so I have to swallow some of my earlier words as I can now see where people got the idea originally. Sirius/Hermione is also cute, as is Minerva/Sirius (the cat and dog thing is brilliant.) Remus/Ginny was surprisingly well done in a fic I read and whilst I don't actively 'ship' them, I do like it.
Luna/Neville is cute (I think I read somewhere that JKR said they got married - can anyone confirm?) and I quite like Ron/Luna. Draco/Hermione can be wonderful (don't vomit - there are a few brillant ones out there) and last, but not least, Severus/Lily; the torturd romance thing ... I'm a sucker for sob stories, let's just put it that way.
I think that's it! I imagine I'll think of more, but I won't torture you guys any longer.

Oh, you don't need to hint, I've written several already on ff.net Haha. JKR actually said that Luna married some naturalist guy, Rolf Scamander Some relation to Newt Scamander, apparently. And I liked Luna/Neville too... Have you read Breathe Me on ff.net? It's a brilliant Andromeda/Ted story by cupid-painted-blind. I feel the need to pimp it shamelessly www.fanfiction.net/s/3948618/1/Breathe_MeOkay, I'm done now...

... I'm currently addicted to X-Files fanfics. I guess when the HP series concluded, my interest waned a little. But ADMM is still my favorite ship, but I'm kind of into Bellatrix/Voldermort for some reason now. It seems so... dark, I just love it.
I'm kind of hooked to Minerva/Bellatrix for some reason... =.= Don't ask, it seems so wrong that I love it. Sirius/Lupin has some kind of appeal now, but that would be the about the only yaoi pairing I would read besides Krychek/Mulder.
To add something completely unrelated, I'm hooked to MSR. Though it's canon, I loved their interactions on TXF, and not to mention, there are so many wonderful authors who wrote such lovely pieces.
