Sometimes I think I live in a fantasy world, I know people do disagree with homosexuality but I didn't realise it went that far tbh. Meh. Saying that I don't think that any of the HP characters are gay.

I'm like you, I have close gay and bisexual friends, I just forget sometimes.

I babysit for a lesbian couple and that seems perfectly normal to me...I don't think that any HP characters are gay, though RLSB is the one couple I could believe.
I've read a lot of good SLASH fics, including Revert to Type which is probably one of my favorite fics. It has a hint of ADMM, though that part of it is really sad. The slash is RLSS and the very beginning is on this site, but hardly anyone reviewed so LinZE did not post the rest. The entire fic is on ff.net.

I've been doing usical theatre and dance most of my life, so I have a few gay friends I actually refused to talk to one guy until he came out, so I guess that influences me on the slash thing. As long as it's well written and made beleivable, doesn't have make sense in the books, but if you can work it out Im good with it

I wonder if people don't like slash/femslash beause we know the caracters are straight? eg Harry/Cedric. Did someone already say that? For me, slash involving the younger caracters (in fact anything sexual between the younger caracters, younger than 5th year) makes me a little uncomfortable. They just seen too young. But that's just personally.

Jason Isaccs is on TV again, It's a chat show..Damn he looks soooo good in black. He seems to be on every time I turn on the TV at the moment..not that I'm complaining :-)
