Hi erveryone!
While searching google for MMAD-stories I stumbled across this fantastic forum and I decided to join.
What to say about me? I'm 19, have just finished school and I'll start university soon. I'm a real bookworm and I love to write, though I haven't send a fanfic yet since I'm quite busy with my original work at the moment.
I've been sailing the MMAD-ship since book one. Apart from Minerva McGonagall and Albus Dumbledore Severus Snape is my favourite character. That's why I'm quite active in the Snape-fandom (only in the German one, though.)
As you've probably guessed by now English is not my first language. I try to write as correct as possible but flaws and misunderstandings might occur nevertheless, so I apologize for this (and for sounding rather posh).
I think I've talked enough now.

Brunette Rapunzel, I admit, I'ma sucker for old movies as well. I imagine you've seen 'All About Eve' since you're a fan of hers. I LOVE that movie, and 'The African Queen' (I love Katherine Hepburn too). What about Rita Hayworth or Ava Gardner? 'Gilda' and 'The Barefoot Contessa' are two of my favourite movies, but more often than not no one's heard of them. Very sad. And MorgaineGaunt: I'd like to help, but know about as much about computers as I do about nuclear physics. Not a lot in other words; I just switch the thing off and on and swear a lot if anything goes wrong.  To both of you: Welcome to the board! |

BrunetteRapunzel: It looks like you and I have a lot in common right down to the last name! (I'm an O'Brien also). I'm an old black and white sucker as well. Katharine Hepburn is one of my absolute favorites. What about Ingrid Bergman though?

Morgainegaunt: I wouldn't have guessed English wasn't one of your first languages. You write very well.
Oh, I think I may be able to help you with your avatar. Do you have a photobucket? (this is how I saved mine) You can save it there and then just copy and paste the URL into the space for avatar URLs on the "Modify Your Profile" page. I hope that works!

*creeps in* Not really a new Introduction, more of a...reintroduction! Hi, I'm Kit. I'm 19 years old and it's been over a year since my last piece of AD/MM art. (For shame!!) I know some of the old group around here and hope they remember me. For those of you i don't know, Hello! I've been in the AD/MM shipper group for a looong time but over the past year or two I haven't had much contact with the groupies. I'm a fan artist by trade and can't write a fic to save my life.  Hummm...was known as kit_kat460 over at Lj and Lanzer over at the yahoo group. And thats about all I can think of right now. Hope to meet you all, and I'll post a pic I've been working on soon. Hey, I'm new. I just wanted to say hello. I'm 22, and have been readin HP since I was 15 or 16. I recently fell in love with the AD/MM ship (took me long enough, huh?).
I'm a graduate student at New Mexico State University, majoring in archaeology. It's my ambition to start museum education programs for deaf and blind children, as well as write a best-selling novel.
Oh, and I'm rather odd, but I figure I should fit right in here! ;D

And Kissofdeath I hope your dunny is cute. why did you name him Voldemort?? My bunny is very cute. He's black with white streaks all over him. I thought it would be funny to name him Voldemort since he's so small and fluffy. I plan to take a picture of him, post it as my avatar with "Fear the dark lord" under it. |

I havent gotten a new animal since i started reading Harry Potter, therefore I have no pet named after the series. But the next animal i get, will be Minny, and it will be a cat.  |

I have been reading HP since I was about 12 and have always loved Minerva. I adore Maggie Smith as well! I guess I should introduce myself.... Late-30something, female, single, living in southern California though I grew up on the East Coast, work in a library. Have never been into fan fiction but decided to look into the HP fanfic phenomenon as part of a presentation I'm doing about HP, and found this board and was hooked. AD is by far my favorite character in the series, and the ADMM ship seems such a natural. Maybe b/c I've always dated older men myself. I am owned by two cats, one of whom is a sweet tabby, but she doesn't have any square markings around her eyes and she isn't nearly as smart as Min. I've never written fiction of any sort previously--just reams of non-fiction academic essays :-) --and probably won't write a whole lot here. Once I get done w/ Love and Wisdom, which I'm writing to help me conceive of the backstory that AD must have had to make him who we see in the books, I suspect my muse will have been satisfied--though I'll enjoy reading what everybody else writes!.... My tastes tend to angst over fluff....must be my Welsh ancestry...the Welsh rather specialise in angst. |

Greetings to the board... and I feel like slapping myself thoroughly for registering only just now. I've loved this 'ship for ages (and now more so than ever, with Seven coming), and I had no idea this board was so active.

Whoa, I missed this part. I joined, er, a few days ago but already I'm in love with this place! My name is Katie, and along with Harry Potter I love Sailor Moon...I am going to be dressing up as Luna's human form for a convention in October and I'm just about finished sewing my McGonagall robe for the movie/book release. It's just cloth because APPARENTLY velvet is out of season *curses Wal-Mart and the lack of fabric stores in the area.* I write fanfiction a LOT! but I never finish it, so if you find any of my stuff on ff.net be warned...my name is "Kaima" there...oh and I make YouTube videos, I have 2 AD/MM ones, my username is Kaima there too, I think. I don't know, it's been awhile. I also ship the regular pairings, RHr and HG, but occasionally I also ship Sirius/Remus or Remus/Hermione...really, I just love Remus...*swoons*
anyway that's probably more than you ever wanted to know about me, and really it was just a bit of shameless self-promotion for my fanfiction and my videos. ;D

Hey all... I'm kinda new... only posted a few times, and I felt it was time to introduce myself. This is probably one of my first serious pairings, but I only just got really into it online. My other big pairing is Adama/Roslin from :-)
I haven't written fanfic for this pairing in a long time, but I'm planning on getting back into it. I'm looking for a beta, if anyone's bored at home with nothing to do. :-)

Hi everyone. My name is Courtney. I live in Texas. I am a certified shipper, let me tell you. =] My one true love in this world is theatre, it consumes my soul. I basically signed my name in blood. I kind of do the whole shmere; acting, sound, directing, set construction, publicity, props...but acting is usually my primary strength. I just like to get as much of the other stuff in as I can.
Anyway, I'm a friendly person, and if you'll talk to me, I'll talk to you. I love talking. It's my favorite =]. I have quirks and ticks, and I work the best under large amounts of stress and running on four hours of sleep and an energy drink. My life is chaos; I don't know how to live an orderly and organized life, and I don't think I'm capable. I cry alot and I LOVE food...my God I love food. I've developed a newfound love for sappy movies (kind of a guilty pleasure of mine), but I'm an extremely harsh critic when it comes to film and stage. It's obnoxious, I know, but I can't help it. It's yet another quirk. =] I have EXTREMELY good luck, I'm always managing to squeeze my way out of AWFUL situations (arrest, crashing my brother's $7000 computer). I love contorversy and scandal; it's what makes the world go round.

Hello everyone, I'm new on the bord. I have been reading the wonderful fanfiction for some months but was unable to register. I am from Northern Germany (and, pudupudu, I know what you mean by water park - it has been raining here for days ) and with 45 years I'M probably the grandma of this borad, but anyway....I love the ADMM-ship....I prefer the romance and fluffy stuff.....oh, if by chance I have stolen the avatar from someone, please tell me and I'll put it away.....Maybe anyone can tell me how to create an own avatar.... I'm not so experienced on The PC.......was already proud of myself to have managed to put that one into the profile......By the way, I miss Richard Harris too...I'm going to read his biography soon..
