well, I watched the movies with my grandchildren and couldn't help but notice how in the first movie MM grabbed AD's hand when they thought danger was coming and observed those two in the rest of the movie. By the time COS was out I was convinced they were a couple. I started reading the books and highlighted all the moments. My grandchildren all thought I was insane and were annoyed by my "crazy theories". Lily, who I'll admit is a bit of my favorite stayed over at my beachhouse and I spent the entire time convincing her. She was an AD/MM believer in 3 days. She was the once who introdyced me to this website.

I'm now trying to convince my parents! I have two of my friends convinced (only took me THREE MONTHS) and I've nearly got Dad around to my way (and the only way) of thinking. Mum is being more difficult...but I will win eventually...

I don't discuss my ships with my family, except my sister and she dosn't really care being 10 and so she just rolls her eyes. My grandmother hasn't read the books although I did drag her to an 11pm showing of the third movie. ;D I did tell her about ADMM though because when I bought a shirt from Hogwarts Duo I had it sent to her house because I had just moved and I wasn't sure I would get it at my new address. She opened the package and washed it for me, but she wanted to know what ADMM Shipper meant, so I told her. ;D ;D ;D

my grandma was just like, "Oh, okay." She knows I write fanfic and I told her that this is mainly what I write about, but she doesn't really know who Albus and Minerva are. She went with me to see PD and PD2 and after the first one she said..."That Jo certainly was sweet on the queen, wasn't he?" So she was a C/J shipper from the beginning.

She probably wouldn't care either way...I might tell her, but I'd have to explain over the phone because I moved several hours away from her. My dad knows I write fanfic and will occasionally ask how it's going, but he doesn't know anything about shipping.

My grandma thinks C/J are cute but simply won't listen to reason when it comes to ADMM. Her boyfriend though is tottaly on my side. As for the people i have to put up with aka my aunt and uncle who i live with will they listen? No of course not. I get a "Shut up I don't care" Every single time. I mention ADMM, C/J, P/A, and or any other ship.
My aunt has officaly lost her mind. She was reading over my shoulder a second ago and read part of the miniplot to my new version of PD3 Genovia's Finest and she thinks I'm utterly nuts. She said Clarisse and Rupert were in love with each other. They wern't in love with each other than's like saying Mini was in love with Filch for lack of a better exacmple. I

Like I've said I'm still 'officially' banned from fanfiction that is how strongly my parents feel about it! They won't even read the books though I have forced dad to watch the movies. Mum is forced to listen to me ramble. mwahahahahahaha

Not many people in my family like the MM/AD couple. My sister likes GW/HP, and all my cousins like some other pairing. None of us really likes the same pairing, so we're often at odds with each other (not really, more like a playful argument).
I've tried to convince my cousin, but she is so adamant about not reading any of it! She loves fanfiction, I don't know what she has against MMADness! Maybe the next time I see her I'll make her read the fluffiest one I can find.

I stumbled across the joys of AD/MM by mere fortune! Before I was lurking in the darkness that was known as TR/MM (A ship I will admit to sailing still now and again). A friend introduced me to the idea of TR/MM which led me to HP fanfiction from there I accidently stumbled across a AD/MM fic and fell in love instantly there I read the first three books again *gosh there were only three at the time! I remember opening them I had never been huge on harry potter never really heard of it my mother brought me the three books for crimbo and I instantly fell in love* saw the evidence and have remained ever since a happy AD/MM shipper.

TR/MM? What pairing is that? I'm sorry, I'm horrible when people just give me the initials it takes me quite awhile to figure out.
I've loved MM/AD since I first started reading/writing Harry Potter fanfiction (which is quite recent). I find myself inclined to other pairings, but I'm not really going on their ships.

TR/MM means Tom Riddle/Minerva McGonagall...a ship I find quite intriguing and in some fics, a ship that eventually becomes AD/MM

TR/MM when you think about it is actually reasonably plausible. Min is only a year older than him. I admit I'm writing a fic which has a past TRMM and I have read other brilliant ones. And most of them end up being ADMM. And my mum has finally seen the light! Mwahahaha. I'm still banned but I wa being particularly irritating and read passages from the books (I was bored, and torturing my mum is a favourite pastime now she's banned me from fanfic) and eventually she snapped and went 'I get it! No more! But what about when Hagrid kissed her on the cheek and she giggled and blushed?" lol. Then I went to the 'He will not be single-handed!' and she said 'That's what I do for your father, yeah, I can see it now'. lol.

HOW I BECAME OBSESSIVELY HOOKED ON AD/MM a dramatization based on actual eventsTHE SCENE: Third Grade, at lunch THE PLAYERS: Lemony Kittens and a Dear Friend. LK: who do you think would make good Harry Potter couples? DF: Well, Hagrid and Madame Maxime LK: How would you rate them? On a grading scale: 0-100? DF: Dunno, probably an 80? LK: Hm. DF: Do you know who would be perfect, though? LK: Who? DF: Well, almost perfect. Maybe like a 98-99... LK: WHO? DF: Dumbledore and McGonagall! LK: Hey, you're right! *shipper squee* *goes to read all the scenes in the books with Albus and Minerva together* THE END! OoooOoooO I remember that conversation quite vividly... Unfortunately, that was quiet some time ago, and since then, my Dear Friend has "jumped ship", as it were. The whole "Age difference" thing freaked her out. Stupid girl . But I love her anyway. I discovered Fan-Fiction two years later, and almost immediately put the two together. And then in the wee hours of the morning today, I joined this site! So, there you have it. My life story, LOL.
